I interacted with Mr. Dorokhin, who was a Head of the Intellectual Property Office at SPbSU since 2017. He impressed me by his broad knowledge, comprehensive approach to the intellectual property regulations, and exceptional openness to new ideas and suggestions. He was involved not only in patent regulations per se, but also in composing the overall regulatory guidelines for data recording, material transfer, etc. In this capacity, he was always willing to address concerns of researchers, and was eager to learn about their experiences, including the studying of international guidelines and regulations.
